"June Lily pads" Monotype

About the Artist:

Artist Liz Perry received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Alfred University’s College of Art and Design, where she studied with photographer and printmaker John Wood and majored in printmaking.

She works with linocut, lithography, zinc plate etching, collagraph, and monotype prints, and sometimes combines different printmaking techniques to create rich, complex images. Her monotypes are often run through the press several times, using different plates and transparent inks to give motion, depth, and texture to her work. Liz Perry is a member and former president of the Printmakers of Cape Cod. She is also a member of the Monotype Guild of New England.

Liz Perry has received awards for her work from The Chatham Creative Arts Center, The Cape Museum of Fine Arts, Cape Cod Art Assoc., and the Ellison Center of the Arts in Duxbury. She also exhibits her work at Art House in St. Ives, England.

Her prints are in many private collections throughout the U.S. and the U.K.
